Traditional Chinese medicine, liver fibrosis, intestinal flora: is there any connection?—a narrative review

چکیده

: This paper aims to analyze how intestinal flora regulates liver fibrosis pathogenesis and evaluate the regulatory effect of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) on flora, providing new insights into treatment. Destruction microbiome can lead development, accelerating microbiome’s disruption. TCM effectively regulate helping prevent treat fibrosis. review discusses mechanisms behind changes in these changes. We searched PubMed, Wanfang database, CNKI for “liver fibrosis”, “intestinal microflora”, microbiota” reviewed retrieved literature. detail prevention treatment options though use regulating flora. also highlight influence present research regarding using TCM. describe effects through liver-intestine axis.
